My name is Tricia Johnson, and I am a counsellor, trainer and personality type assessor working in Gloucester. I have a degree in theology and counselling, and have attended many other courses and workshops in a variety of counselling and related issues. I am committed to ongoing professional development and have full professional indemnity insurance. Furthermore as a counsellor and psychotherapist I am accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP – number 573729) and am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to its professional Conduct Procedure.
As a counsellor and Myers Briggs Personality Type Assessor based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, my concern is to help clients break free, and once they have broken free, to maintain that freedom. Abuse, manipulative relationships, addiction, fear, anger, low self esteem, self-hatred, and negative thinking are just some of the things that come to mind when thinking about what can tie us down and trap us. Whatever your issues or needs, I can guarantee that we will provide you with a comfortable relaxed environment and a listening ear.
I also offer supervision to other counsellors, whether students or qualified, and those involved in caring professions.
I have recently expanded, taking on a further counselling room and more counsellors. There are now five of us working from my premises.
